My new puppy! I got her July 24th and her name is Storm!!! :D

Hello! My name is Raquel, but you can call me Sky [short for my username, skywalkerlover].
I became a DA member to submit my artwork and photography for fellow DA members and for the world to see them.
I am an artist and a photographer, and hopes to be a professional film director in the future [photography and art being my main hobbies].
I am currently in highschool, majoring in Film & Video, Photography and Drawing & Painting [soon to be also majoring in Graphic Design].
As you can see to your left is a portrait that I took this year [2010-2011] of a good friend of mine, which is titled 'Fallen Angel'.
'Fallen Angel' has, as of May 13th 2011, recieved an Honorable Mention in the 14th Annual Ontario Secondary School Black & White Photo Contest in the Black & White Category [certificate shown in my hands above].
I am very proud to have won such an award, and am very greatful of my friend, Emilie, for she is the model who made this all possible - Thank you.

Well, I've got a lot going on but now that camp is over I will have time to do things i've been wanting to do.
Out of 17 things I plan on doing this summer i've done 4 of them while 1 is un-obtainable due to my age and will have to be done next year.
List of things for the summer:
- Finish Summer School
- Take the G1 test in August [more like September now]
- Work with dad every day in August [excluding Fan Expo]
- Work on comic book characters for comic box
- Finish at least 1 painting
- Take at least 1 photoshoot
- Change DA account
- Set up paypal account
